Lets start straight up with WEBROOT,as was a huge deciding factor if "UPGRADE" now or wait.
Webroot, over the last year and a half, more than proven itself to me. I researched,Webroot should transfer and work fine.
Upgraded,
Then looked like WEBROOT didn't work........I was wrong, it did, just less obvious. Adjust a few settings, Webroot obvious now!

I upgraded to "10".
80+ % sure a good move....lol
The new setup is more user friendly.....They brought back some old favorite options.
The Start bar,a good move. Even though I got used to the 8.1 setup ,never thrilled with it,liking this set up more.
Added a few kick ass options.
Addinig CORTANA was a GREAT MOVE...
My Lenovo laptop came with Dragon assistant....
CORTANA .....impresses with hunting down any question ya ask....
I didn't remove Dragon......he follows certain request better....lol.
As far as the new Browser...."THE EDGE" , Replacing Internet explorer....
Opened it once, for a half hour,played with it's new options.
Looked interesting......not writing it off, just need to fix everything else after the upgrade first.

Now, the BAD SIDE of my upgrading .
GLITCHES happened.....And never had a Glitch with Windows 8.1.
Only 2.....but one is on-going.

CORTANA, my new favorite search program.
She loses her voice......
Oh she hears me, answers every question with text, blows me away how she finds answers to ANY goofy thing I ask.
Just the fact, the voice doen't work everytime....irritates.....

Twice,in the first few days,
I had to Restart the computer,cause put the curser on any ICON, no results when clicked on it.
Those may seem small, but with 8.1 everything worked 100% evry time.......LOL

Every time I turn on my laptop, and every time I log off,or turn it off....
I open WEBROOT and have it scan it.
It takes ALOT LONGER TO SCAN IT NOW SINCE UPGRADED TO WINDOWS 10!

Thanks for sharing...have to say that my upgrade to Win 10 has been flawless (so far as I am still checking out if anything is not working as it should).
As far as I have been able to ascertain WSA is functioning corectly in trems of scan times and the other expected fucntionality. The only thing I had to do was to get it to display an icon in the notification tray area...that may be a WSA thing or may be a needing to tweak the Win 10 defaults in that area but it did not take much head scratching to achieve.
Of course there is the annoying issue that Webroot extensions won't work under Edge due to Edge being imcapable of handling such like at this time...but hopefully Microsoft will do something about that shortly.
Finally, I am UK based and Cortana has not been released for use here...I suspect that it is related to something to do with lanuage...'Amercian'...;) & English (what we Brits speak) is somewhat 'different' and it may be that they are still 'teaching' her the differences...;), so we will have to wait an see what gives there as and when.
On the whole I find that Win 10 is faster and smoother on my tablet than the presviously installed Win 8.1 so as far as I am concerned this looks like a keeper.

Dragon is a polite 12 year old boy...CORTANA Is the Smarter,adult aged sister!
Tested "her" many times...With obscure questions..... impressed with the links she finds.
I LIKE CORTANA ALOT!!!

I still get the occasional minor glitch, but way less than whe I first upgraded.....
I started with WINDOWS XP back in 2000....at home.
Still have to deal with, at work .........PRE-WINDOWS 10 VERSIONS.
My summary so far on WINDOWS 10.......
The Positives...
They are obvious........
Compared to VISTA to 8.1.......a way better setup.
More effecient, more secure, and way more user friendly.
The negatives....
For now.....Only one.....

Saying windows 10 sends everything ya do online, gets recorded.

?Some of the issues you seem to be having don't sound uncommon for when you upgraded to Windows 10. You upgraded almost immediately after it was available. There were a lot of bugs still but it seems that they're smoothing most of those out. If you're having issues with Webroot scan time please open a support ticket so that our support team can get some information and guide you to resolving that problem.

That said, did have a security scare ,like 3 days ago.
3 times a warning popped up saying,both windows security and webroot was shut off...
Each time,
Clicked on......restored them,,then ran a DEEP SCAN.
Did a full restart.........no issues since.
As I have total faith in WEBROOT------- SO FAR.....
I'm guessing a windows upgrade caused that........and hasn't happened since.
478 days left on my subscription...... and still a happy camper... :D

+36Hi Tracer, Yup it happens ocassionaly, but as long as you see the Green Webroot icon in the task bar, you can be certain it is not turned off!
