Which console security settings to choose?

Most of us use the default. This is a good question though, I will have to ping ?  ? or ?  I . I've always have known that this should be set to User Configuration.

Thank you for these links Ssherjj.
They indicate to leave the setting at user configuration and I suppose the default settings when Webroot is first installed.
The only setting I changed after install was the scan/maintenance time to: when idle, before 8 AM. All others were left at default.
I wonder why the console offers the the low, medium, high, max settings if it's recommended to stay with user configuration?

Yes that's why I have pinged the other Forum member who are more knowledgable then I to assist with this. They will be on tomorrow I suspect and they wil certainy answer this..Ok?

Glad to see this topic. I always run Webroot set to High Security and Centrally Managed.  Have never had a Webroot problem except PW Manager .  Hope someone elaborates further.  Is central management OK for my four PCs. It has been my assumption that central management allowed me to make changes on any one PC and have changes migrate to the remaining three PCs. I'm open to recommendation on both High Security and Central management.

Yes this is the first time I have been asked this question..I see that ? might be around. Can you answer these questions about the Console Security Settings?

The security settings are related to the level of heuristics that is set for computers managed by the console. Clicking the "?" icon next to "Security Setting" will show you how the various heuristics are set for each level of protection, and choosing "User Configuration" allows the user to set their own heuristic levels.
 
I would keep the settings at the default medium setting. Raising the heuristic settings can result in a greater chance for Fasle Positives.
