webroot is blocking sites

Webroot is blocking sites that i used to be able to visit. Such as LL Bean and some New York Times sites

There is nothing in our current web site database or even our old one with that domain name. I dont reconise that website but it looks like its a company server address as you get the following message:

Return Path Inc - Campaign Insight Server

You will be automatically forwarded to the Return Path corporate web site in 10 seconds. If you are not, please use the following link.

I can visit all the sites in your original message with no issues.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

I have no issues going here: http://www.llbean.com/ or here: http://www.nytimes.com/ can you check the exact link here to see what it says! http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php

Thanks,

Daniel 🙂

No issues here either. Clicked some links on NY Times with no issue.

Welcome to the community @!

For future reference, in the event that you receive a mesasage from Webroot ,you can always check a url reputation with BrightCloud. If BrightCloud lists the URL as trusted, you can ask for verification from tech support by submit ting a support ticket. Support will advise if the url is in fact malicious or if the message is a false positive.

Please come back often and share your experiences!

As these are normal behaviour for the Web Shield and you don't really see them get blocked we will ask @ to see if he can add some more insight?

Thanks,

Good morning all... ::yawn:: and Welcome webmess to our little corner o' the Web ;-)

May I ask why we're all trying to link to a tracking pixel?  As everyone else has previously stated, there are no problems with the LLBean and/or NY Times web sites, so, I'm not clear as to what the true problem/issue is here?

<< START EDIT >>And I almost forgot... can you please let us what which web browser and version you are using?  This will help pin down the issue.<< \ END EDIT >>

Unfortunately webroot closes the email before I can check the sender. This is a new experience. It never did this before.
