Hi,

How do I use the Uniquedevice with an MSI-file install?

What field to edit and what syntax?

Thanks!

Hi rikardz

Please note the -uniquedevice switch is typically used for virtual environments like Citrix Provisioning or VDI where the use of -clone is not effective due to Device MIDs being the same.

The syntax for the value field is "-uniquedevice" without the quotes
The Property is CMDLINE on the Property table within the msi

One of our webroot educational videos has a nice portion on msi editing, and https:///t5/tkb/articleprintpage/tkb-id/ent5@tkb/article-id/10 we have previously written on msi deployment here on the community.

Hope this helps
