what are the prerequisites for Andriod ?

Hi,
 
I am starting to work with WEBROOT for Android device so please let me know the prerequisites for this and I cam to known that SIM is required for that , why it is necessary here.

Here are the requirements:
 
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
 
Management Portal:
  • Internet Explorer® version 7, 8, and 9
  • Mozilla® Firefox®
  • Chrome™ 11 and 12
  • Safari® 5
  • Opera™ 11
Operating Systems:
  • Android™ operating system version 2.2 or higher
  • Android-compatible phone or tablet device with 3 MB of free storage space
  • Apple® operating system iOS 4.2 or later.
  • Compatible with iPhone® and iPad® devices.
