Why does my computer sometimes freezes up, sometimes loses internet connection and a lot of times runs rigid?

Well, I am afraid that this is a very general question and as a result there is no one specific answer to it. Can you provide some more detail as to the background to the issues? Have you recently installed some new app or update and have been having the issue since then? And what exactly do you mean by "runs rigid"?
