A subscription renewal for three devices was performed for only one. Why?

On January 3, 2025, my subscription, Webroot® SecureAnywhere® Internet Security Plus 3 Device 1 Year Renewal, had to end, but on December 31 I entered my account and clicked the button Renew NOw. Unfortunately the renewal was made only for one device. I need it for 3 devices. Why it was not continued as before? For many years I had it for 3 devices.

Newly added computer not showing on new or old console

I started with Webroot installed on 3 computers, deactivated one so I could add a new one, everything all good w/that one. Some time later I deactivated another old computer so I could add back the one I had previously removed; Webroot back and running on the most recently added machine. Unfortunately, the most recently added computer does not appear on the new console or the old console. Furthermore, the new console says I have 9 machines covered(?), all but 3 of these have been deactivated but can’t make heads or tales of what’s going on here. The old console shows only 2 machines: 1 old desktop and my new laptop; the old laptop I most recently added back does not appear even though Webroot is definitely working on it. It would be great if all three of my current machines showed up on the old console, it would be even better if I could make some kind of sense of what’s going on in the new console.

I am so confused - from how many different sites is Webroot acct access possible??

In the process of setting up a new laptop, it’s been a while since I’ve had to delete/deactivate a device from my Webroot console, I start by clicking on the “My Account” box within the Webroot app on one of my laptops (see Pic 1). Clicking that box takes me to https://myaccount.carbonite.com/ ; I don’t recall ever conducting any business here. I eventually manage to log on and get to a somewhat user un-friendly page that lists my currently protected machines with names I don’t remember assigning (Pic 2). I’m not entirely convinced this page is legit even though I reached it directly through a link within my Webroot app. After some futile attempts at getting some actual customer service I stumbled across another page that looks way more familiar/legit (https://my.webrootanywhere.com/ ); it also has my machines listed with names that I remember assigning (Pic 3). Aside from the assigned computer names all the other info (keycode, version) indicates this is the same account on each page.

Webroot Page Not Working

My Webroot SecureAnywhere 24.2 will not work. This is the page that allows you to scan, and shows all the settings. The only thing it will do is Scan. I cannot add more devices in the Get Started portion, access Support or Webroot Community. When I click on Password Manager, it will not respond to Manage Passwords or Learn More. Under My Account, it will not respond to the My Account Button or Learn More.My computer says it’s protected and the protection doesn’t expire until March 2025. I have Windows 10 with Chrome.

some process highlight in yellow

When I go to view active connections and put my cursor on processes some will highlight in yellow and some dont. Anything that highlighted in yellow I blocked. I dont understand this. I was hacked a month or so ago and totally reset this laptop back to factory settings. Not sure what these are.

Webroot extension not working on microsoft edge

As of early this morning, my webroot extension stopped working on edge. This has happened in the past and it was because of a change in edge programming that webroot needed a fix for. Is that happening again?

Disabling two factor authentication

Hi, This is to bring to the benign notice of the forum members that Webroot console is not accepting the security code generated by Lastpass Authenticator which I reinstalled. Whenever I try to reset 2FA , I cannot do it shows the error code 405.Though I input the correct answers for security questions it is not accepting and shows the error code 405. As I cannot login Webroot I cannot read customer support messages. As I am from India calling Webroot customer care costs me much.I phoned Webroot customer support number +1 866-612-4227 the call disconnected in the middle. One of the Webroot customer care executives cannot resolve my problem. I am posting this in the forum as a last resort. Anyone could you guide me please ?Thankking you,Dr.Siva

New to webroot mobile

I’ve been using webroot on my pc for over a year and recently upgraded to the mobile app. The only issue I have is every now and then I have to login to use the app. I never log out or restart the phone. I don’t mind logging in except the program never excepts my log in credentials unless I uninstall the app and start from scratch. It’s getting extremely annoying. Anyone know of a fix. TIA

Webroot blocking the opening of programs on Windows 11 PC

How do I let programs through Webroot? I need to whitelist Krita because Webroot won’t let it open. I had to turn off Webroot to get Krita working again. I’m frustrated because the guides online all show older versions of the Webroot console and the options they tell me to use don’t exist.

Fix Chrome Google voice Search after udates stops working and search windows will not scroll even on text searches

Trying to Ffx Chrome Google voice Search after udates stops working and search windows will not scroll even on text searches. This has been going on for over a year. I tried reinstallng doen’t help. Keep saying no internet connection but Bings voice works. all other things seem to be working fine, Interenet connect good. Other browser work fine. I have hundreds of hour in looking for the cause but no real answers. Here how it goes. I update. It stops saying no connection after the Mic activates. If I do a text search the window will not scroll after the update. The out of the blue a week or so later it starts working again like nothing was ever wrong. So it this the security picking up something and throttling Chrome back till it see it safe to run or what.I have worked with Weebroot team in the past to get new programs to run on install. So, I have an understanding of how it works. I know if something doesn’t look right Webroot will flag it and kind of sandbox it till it see it’s OK a

Why the Insane Webroot Pop-ups?

Something started with Webroot a few months ago that is driving me INSANE!!! Before this, I actually believed Webroot was protecting me from unwanted internet connections. Now, however, it’s up to me to either accept or block every possible connection known to man - and not once-for-all. No! EVERY time I reboot and most every day I see the same “This file is trying to connect to the Internet and is not trusted” pop up - even doing it now as I’m typing this complaint. Some I recognize - some I don’t. I don’t think it should be my job to block unsafe connections. Perhaps it’s time to switch to another less bothersome and more trusted security service for my PC.

Can my Browser Settings Block My Ability to Post in One Particular Forum?

There is a forum on the Web where I yearn to post. For six months, when I attempt it I receive the following: ________________, you do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. I use Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers; all three receive the same error message. Eight months ago I was able to post in the forum. Others are posting. The site is up and running. I’m in contact with the site admin. Can it be Webroot?

What to do about LastPass

Heard about the breach and I was wondering if we need to do anything? I use a long master password with mixed letters, numbers and special characters. Do we continue to use Lastpass?Do we need to change all our passwords?Should we switch to another password manager?Should we even use a password manager at all?Are you still using Lastpass and are you going to continue?I was always reluctant to use a password manager because I feared this very thing. But then I gave in and it was nice not to have to remember all those passwords; especially ones that you don’t use often. Now I’m not so sure nice was enough. I also use 2FA when available.Luckily I refused to store any financial passwords in this or any manager.I tried to look up info on these very questions but I did not find what I was looking for. Thus this post.Thanks.

Hardware problem

I just performed a scan today and I got several messages - In Hardware it says Graphics RAM is Low and Impacting Performance how do you fix it is, indeed, LOW;  Software - says an Active Process has a Possible Leak in Chrome.exe, how can this be fixed?  And Temp Files found 1087mb Windows/IE only, I can delete these, correct?

Unable to verify email

I can’t verify my email address to add a key code in. I have checked spam folder, made sure I entered the email correctly and tried to resend the email multiple times and I still receive nothing. I’m not sure how to fix this.

After I installed the new version of Chrome last night, it stopped working. It still works in Edge. I just get the little green icon that looks like a flower. Anyone else?

Removing Devices from Security Summary

I had some problems with my laptop and reinstalled Windows 11 to factory settings a few times and reinstalled Webroot Anywhere. Now, the Security Summary shows that Webroot is protecting 3 devices but it’s the same laptop.Is there a way to remove two of them to show that there is only one device protected? Also, I might want to install Webroot on two more PCs, Will I still able to do that, even though the Security Summary shows that 3 devices are protected. I have the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus for 3 devices.

everytime i turn on my pc this stupid “renew now” pop-up comes up. how do I stop it?? its so annoying and sometimes comes up when I'm trying to play games and REALLY messes me up. I DO NOT WANT TO RENEW NOW!!! how do I stop it????

MY WEBROOT SAID "WRSkyClient.x64" IS NOT A TRUSTED PROCESS.

WRSkyClient.x64 was trying to connect to the internet. Why would Webroot Not trust one of it’s own processes? Seems strange.
