Hi MOC

Yes, you can run WSA & NIS together at the same time...not that you need to as WSA is more than enough to protect you.  WSA is designed to be complaint & compatible with almost all other security solutions and will cede priority to NIS if there is the potential for conflict but will step in if it idenitfies somethingt hat NIS is not covering.

Hopefully by the time your 6 months of free NIS is over you will be confident in getting rid of it from your system and just using WSA for protection.

Hello MOC and Welcome to the Webroot Community.

WSA will run happily alongside Norton, but WSA alone is more than adequate. It's your choice.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

I'm in the Car with Baldrick & Dermot7, you really don't need NIS have a look at this: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php

Cheers,

Daniel ;)

Well you can run both. This will not increase security though. Running WSA will give you the best security and the least of headaches. Just install and forget. It will protect your devices and your data.

I think we're gonna need a bigger car :p

Seriously, when I purchased my PC, I had a paid version of Webroot AND a 6-month free trial for McAfee.   On the day that my 6-mos trial ran out, I uninstalled McAfee and have been running Webroot solo ever since (with the occassional test with Malwarebytes for good measure).
