It is better but we may hear something on Monday hopefully but we are thinking of changing ISP. However because of where I live there is not much choice. I live at the southern end of a village, about a mile to the nearest small exchange but about 5 from the main one and out here it is all old cable. Unless we take the other option and use the fibre cable which was buried in the area about 2 years ago but that is a lot more expensive.
Next week sometime they will be working on my internet. I got the email a few days ago. Knowing COX they will screw everything up. The home we use to own we ran Verizon Fios internet and TV, no problems what so ever, lightning speed. COX internet is not bad, but their cable TV Sucks big time.

I use mostly to watch shows and movies in the US and without a VPN I couldn’t. I also have installed on my smart phone in case I need to use it in not so secure areas.

+54We have had issues in the past but not as bad as this one. To be honest as regards speeds 20Mbps is about good enough for us for what we do
+25I had no idea how bad internet speeds could be. We are on AT&T symmetrical fiber, 1 Gb up and down for less than Comcast sells 250 mb down and 25 up. I’m feeling very lucky right now.
