Happy First Day of Spring

Since i am not feeling well, i am not doing anything.  Nothing.  Zilch.  Nada.
 
Other than sitting on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the world go by, relaxing in the beautil 65 degree weather!  First time in months i have been able to do that and it feels GREAT!

Am afraid not, Nic, despite the Spring Equinox being just past there is no real reason to celebrate here...as we are heading back towards cloder and wetter weather if only for a short while...I am saving the celebrations for the arrival of Summer.
 
But knowing our luck, over here, that won't be much to right home (or here) about...but we will see...;)

I have also seen a weather report saying that there are some thunderstorms heading towards you Baldrick, so keep your head down.
 
Over here during the last few years Spring has not existed, we have gone straight from Winter to Summer and so far this year it is not looking too different either. But I will celebrate when I can sit outside on the patio with a good book and a pint of tea.
Your breakfast spread looks great, but I feel sorry for the vegan, not much choice for them 😉

Thanks for the heads up, Jasper.  Already had a small one here...and the sky certainly looks leaden.  Will have to make sure that I am snug in front of the fire with a large glass of wine in my hand. ;)

Well, the prospect of Spring coming is certainly welcome, but there hasn't been much evidence of it round here in the past few days, and I got caught in a shower of heavy freezing rain last night, and the heating is blasting away!

I have no pic to prove it, but there is the start of a SMALL amount of evidence here.  The trees are releasing pollen and the first of my spring bulbs opened yesterday.  
 
Of course there is a chance of snow in a couple days, but nothing is perfect 🙂
