RMM Integrations

Always Interested in how people rate their integrations with the different RMM’s out there for webroot.

@deanosborne

I stand to be corrected, but Webroot is one of the most heavily integrated endpoint security products/services out there with RMM’s and other various platforms.

Our MSSP goes direct to Webroot so we don’t purchase from the RMM vendor we use, but we also use the MDR from BlackPoint and that integration is super tight. Very impressed with that. Our RMM reports just fine on the status of our Webroot agents and we have scripts made up that can deploy the Webroot agent to the systems.

Regards
John

Honestly speaking not great but I don't believe that's webroots fault, we started integrating webroot via connectwise command and aside from the installation itself which is automated by a tick box in the rmm setup itself, there isn't much to speak of and I end up doing most of the config in webroot dashboard itself (which I love btw). I'd like to see Connectwise add a bit more to integration but doubt I'll see it.

Ping me what more you need and I will speak to the product team. We dont want you having to leave the RMM for anything in an ideal world. I know its still got a way to go in comparison the Automate plugin but we are working heavily in that area.

Will do Dean, nothing major but when it comes to the actual config / overrides etc of the webroot element, I just tend to find myself logging directly into the webroot management console as opposed to doing it via RMM but there is also every chance I am missing something. Cheers.

We are an MSP that runs N-central from N-able. We have integrated Webroot, so we can see alerts and status of the endpoints directly in N-central. For a quick glance and the alerts this is great. For more details and actions we use the Webroot console.

We are using the Automate plugin and it works really well. Especially the latest builds.

It integrates really well with GSM and allows you to push WR commands and change WR policies straight from the computer agent window.

Klein hope you’re well. Out of interest are you looking at the new version of CW Command? We looked at both Command and Automate before landing on Command (the previous version) but i understand that the new version brings the best parts of automate and command together. Have you had experience with the other side of the fence?
