I had a couple in the last few days.

With all the talk of ChatGPT, I was discussing with some team members that I expected phishing messages to get better since they can use ChatGPT to write their messages (especially if English is not their first language).  My fears were quickly reduced when I got a text message a couple of days ago that advised “to continuing to using your account as normally” that I need to “clicking the link as below.”

The second was I got a phone call telling me that my AMEX had been approved for a credit increase.  I politely informed the caller that I did not have an AMEX, then asked how much he gets paid to scam call people every day.  I have never had a phone call disconnect so fast!

Yeah I do think over time ChatGPT and generative AI will be make this harder to spot
