Where are you from, and what is your favorite thing about your hometown?

NO this is not any scam question, just a curious question. We have this super great community here, and we all interact etc, share awesome articles as well as talk a fair amount of smack.

I am always just curious as to know where people are from and what their favorite thing is about their hometown.

I am from Durban in South Africa, and my favorite thing here is our weather is awesome, we have beautiful beaches and places to visit such as Botanical Gardens bird parks etc. Let alone to mention, we got the absolute best curries in the world.

I’m from Maryland. I enjoy the rural area I live in where cattle have broken through the farmer’s fence and wandered into my back yard a few times over the years. Blue crabs are a staple and they are absolutely delicious - especially with some Old Bay seasoning. There are plenty of places to visit local beaches and take nature hikes

I am originally from Marlow, which is a small town in Buckinghamshire, England. Fun fact, a lot of the Star Wars series Kenobi was filmed in a quarry in Little Marlow (just outside the main town) ...that's about it 😂

OH!

We also have a Lego Land nearby!

Rural area….. have you been to our continent? :-) Still the photos looks amazing.

I am from a small town in KZN, South Africa called Howick.
I beautiful quiet town with a great community.

One of the biggest tourist attractions is Howick Falls.

Not that fantastic to see, however, tourist love it.

There are also quite a few pubs :)

We're very lucky I have a friend who works for Lego and he often gets tickets for the kids, they love it there

Spoiled rotten. Only way you get that kind of “service” in sa is if you know someone and there are some backhanded deals there. LOL. NAH I am just half jealous here.

Here is one of our favorite attractions in Dbn https://ushakamarine.com/

Would it make it better if I said our Lego friend always turns up with free lego for them as well?! Not sets or anything, just tubs of the bricks but they LOVE it (By “they”, I include myself) and spend hours building

I think you have abused the community now way to much… a ban has just been imposed. :-) NAH just kidding, that is seriously epic. Even if I am half jealous we dont have that, lego is still the way to go. I still love it and love building things with the small man.

Central Pennsylvania. Love the different seasons that we get to enjoy here in PA from snowy winters, to warm summer days, I get to enjoy it all.

London, Uk. Don’t love the seasons here that much as mainly just rains! Chucking it down today in fact.

However, I do still get a buzz when going into central London. There’s so much history and architecture to enjoy.
