How long does the initial set-up take? Ive been on 92% for about 1 hour.

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

 

Can you tell me if you are trying to install Webroot on a Mac or a Windows PC? This shouldn't ever take this long ever!

Thank you, This should not take but a few minutes to install. Has Webroot been installed yet or is it still at 92%. If it is still at 92% then cancel the install. Is this the first time installing Webroot or is this a renewal?

Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online the install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot
