updates to windows being recived 3 times and rereceived upon future request for update example KB3111941 and KB3119142 both related to Microsoft visual C

I believe that from what I have read the fix for this is relatively simple, and goes like this:

 


  1. Go Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features
  2. Scroll down and right-click on the following entry; “Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) – 11.0.61030
  3. Select the “Repair” option from the resulting context menu, and allow the installer to do its thing
  4. Once the repair completes, reboot your PC, if so requested.
And then monitor for a re-occurrence...there should not be one if the 'fix' has worked. Either way do let us know.
