Chrome and Firefox extension difference

I clicked on a link in the Ookla Speedtest webpage, using Chrome, taking me to the incluster.com website. The product they were trying to promote, Outbyte, looked dubious, so I closed the browser. A little while later, I did the same thing using Firefox, and Webroot blocked my access to the page. Why Webroot not block my access from the same website when using Chrome? My Chrome extension is the current version in Chrome’s Web Store. Shouldn’t it work the same in both browsers?

Yes I have seen some issues with Chrome and I did a bit of testing but I don’t know if Webroot Support knows about it: https://community.webroot.com/webroot-secureanywhere-for-macs-18/mac-book-pro-cuts-support-of-webroot-with-catalina-update-343027#post355963
