I see Microsoft Edge is not automatically added to the application protection of Webroot, although other browsers are.

When I manually add it, I see I can no longer write anything in the address bar, until I remove it. Is this a bug or is Webroot aware of this issue?

Yes they are aware of this issue and there is no timeline for support under Identity Shield for Edge but the Web Filtering Extension is available for Edge: Here is the link from the Microsoft Store and open with Edge to install: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NT6C2Z1HFNM
