hello everyone,

I'm sheila and definitely not a technical person.  The othe day my webroot alerted me to something about communications and I selected to block - now i am not receiving any new emails to my hotmail account.  even when i try to refresh/sync.

any ideas?

The easiest way to remove the block is a clean reinstall of WSA and just follow the steps below and that should fix things for you!

 

Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • Be sure you add your Keycode to your Online Console: Webroot SecureAnywhere Online Console
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Geek Squad Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and DO NOT import any old settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

thanks for your response and the steps to correct my issue... funny thing when I opened my surface pro to follow your instructions - i was once again receiving my news feeds and emails - so I did not have to do anything.  No sure what changed - but all is well now.  

 

Will keep the steps handy though in case i need them in the future.
