Unanswered questions

Anyone else see this issue and hopefully have a work around:When I mount a DMG disk image, or plug in a USB drive to my MacBookPro, I cannot eject it because I am told one or more  programs may be using it. This even happens if NO programs are shown as running. I have noted that if I quit WSA (shut it down) I can then eject these drives  But WSA scanning the drives  it seems leaves some process open that still has an active pin to the drives.  I do not want to force eject an HD, or even a DMG as it can damage the image or drive. Suggestions anyone? (FYI: Webroot Customer Service suggested I shut down WSA, eject the drive, and then turn it back on. WORST SOLUTION EVER.) 

I uninstalled the offending apps and all is well now.  I just ran Webroot and from the PC Security screen it says it is infected. The offending malicious files are Hidemouse.exe and Password.exe How do I clean it?

Hi Webroot CommunityI was wondering if anyone else has noticed WSA not always being recognised as the Default Virus and Threat Protection App in Windows 11.I was looking at the Windows 11 Security Centre and noticed the PC had reverted to Windows Defender as the Default Default Virus and Threat Protection App.The other thing I have noticed is on Bootup the Security Centre takes a couple of Minutes to Decide the Default Virus and Threat Protection App.I did a fresh install of Windows 11, and  WSA was the first app I installed and Windows Security took a couple of minutes to acknowledge WSA.Kind regardsSXR6 

The computer and laptop keyboards are hanging, and the device needs to be restarted to log in. If we uninstall webroot, it works fine. Please advise how to solve this issue, just renew webroot for another 1 year.

I've noticed that the macOS version doesn’t appear to flag/detect script malware. Is that because Webroot only flags self contained executables? If a script file were to be executed in a browser, would Webroot detect it? The script files in question are located on the Objective-see.com web-site.
