Hey folks, 

 

Basically I purchased the complete webroot package.  My subscription is ending in the next couple months.  

 

I am in serious need of help/advice.  What I did was, out of frustration, I blocked some processes that I didn’t quite understand (newbie move) and now I cannot get past the “start up” on my MacbookAir.   The computer turns on,  shows my username, I’m able to enter my PW and that’s where it basically gets held up.  The loading bar “holds” about halfway through so I can’t actually log in.   

 

Im able to boot into recovery mode and safe mode.  

 

My thoughts on fixing what I did were to get into my terminal and uninstall we root in hopes of undoing what I did.   

Or,

”Deactiving computer”  under commands in PC security when logged into my.webroot....of course with the same thought that by getting web root off, will allow whatever process I blocked to default back.
