I've tried Avast and Panda before I found Webroot, and nothing compares for speed.  Also, Panda seemed to be unable to clear a nasty bug I picked up somewhere, and nevertheless kept returning an "all ok" message.  It seemed to me if the Panda scans kept finding the same threat, over and over, it was not ok.  My browser had slowed to a crawl, so I decided to try something new.  Once WR was installed and run, my browser speed picked up considerably, and the speed of the scan allows me to check out the system's health daily.  Could it be as good as all that?
Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Yes IMO and others here on the Forum believe Webroot is all that. We have all tried other Anti Viruses. I myself have used Panda and found it problematic and it used alot of resources as Norton and McAfee which also took over my computers.. But nothing beats Webroot in speed and performance.Once Webroot is installed ..you can set it and forget about it and updates automatically from the cloud.

WSA only uses 3 to 6MB of RAM and up to 6 MB's on the Hard Drive for the Client and this is the future and it's here now, how can the other conventional AV's keep up with almost 500,000 new Malware everyday and over 142 million Malware in 2014 alone..

Also Webroot has a roll back feature as shown in a video here What Happens if Webroot Misses a Virus

Please read the potential Webroot has.: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/Scanning-PC-suspiciously-fast/m-p/... The Webroot WIN Cloud does all the work not your PC: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php

Hello Tom and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

As Sherry stated you are on the best solution these days as WSA is the future and it's here now! The other AV's can't keep up with the massive increase in malware over the last few years see this chart.

So the WIN Cloud is the only way to go!

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
