I am trying to update my HP notebook and it keeps failing to update the system bios (Intell processor. Can anyone help with this issue ?

If you are not experiencing problems on your computer and are not aware of any additional features in the BIOS that are needed, then you may not need to perform the update.
If a BIOS update is not performed properly, it can actually harm your system. It is best to review the release notes to determine whether the update will benefit your system. Also, review the instructions that are included with the BIOS update software, prior to performing an update.
You have to have the EXACT Bios for your PC/laptop. Use only the bios from HP direct.
Do not use a third party non HP bios.

Updating your BIOS is not something that I would advise somebody doing if they arent familiar with the process. If you get it wrong your laptop for all intents and purposes will be a paper weight. Unless you are having some major issues I would advise updating it.
