My name is dhiler19, I used to support networks, but that was a lifetime ago. I also helped with engineering a commercial software. Also a lifetime ago. Now I am just a computer user. My husband and I are retireded early so I can take care of my Mother. I try to keep up with things "computer wise" topics, but by the time I learned it, it becomes isolete within days. Thus is cyber life. I am in my 50's, hope to learn how to create Apps for iPhones, (still have my creativity) Right now I am trying to keep my personal information safe from being hacked. Thanks to South Carolina's Tax Department who disabled or didn;t use their security software, I and 100,000.00 others are being followed with a Security Company. Gee Thanks SC....

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
That's good to hear and may I ask what you were using before WSA? WSA is very good and smart if a bad file is sitting on your system it's not a threat unless it's executed then WSA will react for the same reason WSA doesn't Scan Emails it doesn't waste it's time unless you click on an unknown attachment then it will react, also have a look if WSA misses something as it can rollback to the pre-infections state: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-Education/What-Happens-if-Webroot-quot-Misses-quot-a-Virus/... also WSA is so light on system resource's because all the work is done on the WIN Cloud and not on your system: http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php it's the future and it's here now, with over 140 million new or modified Malware in 2014 alone how can the others keep up with definition updates? WSA does not have any Definition updates as it's always up to date in the Cloud the only thing you will see is Program Updates and in most times you will not see it because it's small and fast! http://www.webroot.com/us/en/support/support-consumer-release-notes
