how doi I knowif my webroot sec has been activated
just purchased a webroot cd and have a pc with no insert. just downld, i think, webroot but have no why to confirm activation

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You will have had to enter a keycode at the start of the installation process. If you did that and the installer then moved on to an initial scan and then completed you have activated WSA. To double check just click on My Account (in the main app panel) and that should display your keycode with which you have activated the product.
Also, on the main panel you will see 'Subscription' followed by a number of days...that should be the length of your subscription...just check to make sure it is the number of days that you purchased.
