So where would I got to unblock a website/view blocked website list?

And how do websites get blocked? Is it only upon visitng the site?

Or can it get blocked just by being in a list of search results on your internet browser?

This is in reference to WSA by the way. NOTE: On PC/laptop
Hello @frog57 and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

You didn't say which Device this happened on as there are to many steps and this is the easiest way on PC is to do a clean reinstall of WSA.

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • Be sure you add your Keycode to your Online Console: Webroot SecureAnywhere Online Console
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Geek Squad Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and DO NOT import any old settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

Okay but that doesn't fully answer my questions.

Like does WSA on PC/laptop block sites only upon visiting?

Or does it block even if it just appears as a search results on a web browser?

Also for those links will thse take me to my page?

PLEASe respond with text

Yes during visiting and it also checks when searching only on Supported Browsers, IE, Chrome and Firefox.

You can also check URL's here if you like and it's part of the Web Shield: https://www.brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php

Indicators Displayed With Query Results

When you run an Internet query such as a Google search, SecureAnywhere shields modify the results display with icons that give you safety information about each website returned as a result of the search. The icon displays to the left of each website name in the list of query results. The table below describes the meaning of each icon.

ICON DESCRIPTION

These are well known sites with strong security practices, and rarely exhibit characteristics that expose you to security risks. There is a very low probability that you will be exposed to malicious links or payloads.

Ratings are temporarily unavailable or the Webroot agent is shut down. Wait for service to be restored or check to be sure the Webroot agent is running.

So you said yes while visiting.

But for the toehr part, when you say check does that mean it will block those that may be of risk before you visit? Or is it just alerting you so you know ahead of time if it is of possibele risk?

Also I'm having trouble findng the blocked website list? How do I find that and or how do I find the log on my PC?

Only sites with a Red Exclamation Point Icon will be Blocked! There's not much more I can add just read the links I pointed to.

"Also I'm having trouble findng the blocked website list? How do I find that and or how do I find the log on my PC?"

I already showed you where to look C:\ProgramData\WRData\wrUrl Folder

Also the ProgramData is a hidden system folder so do a search on how to see it:

Sorry a couple last things.

So will this feature not work on Microsoft Edge? (where it displays threats and blocks red ones)?

And Is there anyway to view blocked website list? I can't find it.

Yes Edge is supported now for a couple of months see here: https://docs.webroot.com/us/en/home/wsa_wts_wsapp_ug/wsa_webthreatshieldwindowsstoreapp_userguide.htm#WSAWebThreatShieldWindowsStoreAppUserGuide/DownloadingAndInstallingTheWebThreatShieldWindowsStoreApp.htm

Okay but you still ahvne't helped me with how to unblock.

Where do I go to unblock a site and how do I view the blocked website list. or is there no palce to view what sites have been blocked? Please respond.
The only thing I can add if you hit a bad website that is blocked you will see this window with 3 options! Now after if you want Save a Scan Log and it will show the block: https://docs.webroot.com/us/en/home/wsa_pc_userguide/wsa_pc_userguide.htm#UsingReportsAndViewers/SavingScanLogs.htm%3FTocPath%3DUsing%2520Reports%2520and%2520Viewers%7C_____1

Okay so let's say I hit a blocked site, and save the log right after, it will have a log and that will pop up as blocked in the log?

But if I wait a few days to weeks to save a log will the website not appear is blocked in the log?

The page said from most recent scan data, but those are done all the time.
