New here, where do users discuss real technical issues?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the OpenText Cybersecurity community and just trying to understand how people usually use this space.

I see a lot of announcements and updates, but I’m curious — is this also where users talk about real product issues or technical challenges, or should those always go through official support?

One of the reasons I joined was to learn from other users’ real-world experiences, so I’d appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

@johnackerman

Welcome to the community. You can post questions and concerns here, but first course is to always open a ticket through your support channels first. That way it is logged.

We are more than happy to help here as best we can and bring in other members of OpenText to help (they monitor the community anyway).

If you know what your question pertains to then post it in the corresponding product/service area and if not, find a general area and post there. We won’t get mad.

Kind Regards
John H

Hi @johnackerman

Echoing a lot of what everyone else has said. This is absolutely the place to ask questions about your products. You will find people here who can chime in on any issues or questions you have. Support (links at the top) are always going to be invaluable as they can evaluate logs which will inherently include a lot of info that could be useful in diagnosing.
