Hi.
I bought webroot a few days ago and it seems to be working great and I have no complaints.
There were youtube reviews that seemed to have problems testing it.
The one that gives me concern is that a keylogger supposedly was able to access the net with its
information.
I bought the product just the same.
Hope you all have a great day.

Hi Tony3
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Glad to hear that you are pleased with WSA. I have to say that I do not hold much store by some of the rubbish that is posted on Youtube..often the supposed 'tests' are fallacious/flawed and are best ignored.
With regard to keyloggers WSA provides solid protection against them plus many other threat to personal data & to one's identity...the list of what is covered can found under Identity Protection > Online Protection tabs.
Please also take a look at this previous thread, specifically the 2nd post, that includes links to some KB Articles on the subject plus a video presentation.
Regards, Baldrick

I watched the video you suggested and it goes along with another I saw by Webroot about keyloggers.
When I first installed webroot I visisted 3 download sites that I knew had something bad in their installers.
I found this out by using a second opinion scanner.
Zemana to be exact.
Ive had downloads before that sent my AV into panic mode to my surprise.
The very good thing is that webroot intercepted the download before it was complete in 2 of the 3 downloads.
The other I uploaded to webroot so maybe they can add it to their cloud.
I was surprised that webroot got the malware before the installer was on the machine.
That is very cool imo.
Thanks.

Hi Tony3
Glad that you are impressed...needless to say that we are as well...which is why we also use WSA. The really cool thing about WSA is that it focuses on active threats rather than trawlling through ones systems looking for potential threats...after all a piece of non active malware is just that...inactive and therefore unable to cause any issues...but when it activates or tries to then WSA springs into action and deals with it effectively & fast.
In that way one has a focused and very light anti malware solution. :D
Do let us know if you have any further questions.
