Will changing my computer name affect webroot?

Srictly speaking the answer is 'No', however what will most likely happen is that after each name change you will get a new registration entry in your online console (HERE) which you should clear out/deactivate to keep things 'tidy' after each name change.
 
To do that please see this KB Article that should provide the guidance that you need if required.
 
In term sof your underlying issue...once you have installed WSA and run a scan post back and let us know if you require assistance with that.

I haven't the problem I was having since I started using Webroot. That problem, it was causing
me headaches.  No viruses found, but the problem I was having seems to be solved.
I am willing to give a thumbs up to webroot.  I have not needed to change
my computer name since installing Webroot.  Before, it was every 2 to 4 weeks to be able
to access the interent with Chrome or Firefox..  Why????

Glad to hear that the issue seems to be sorted. As to why it happened...I guess we may never know...a glitch or something that corrected itself, perhaps?
 
In relation to your CD copy...not sure as to why you have not recieved it yet. Perhaps our most excellent Community Manager ? may be able to use his renown super powers and investigate this for you. ;)
 
Habving said that you really do not need a CD copy as you can always download the lates version of the installer from HERE (PC version; let us know if you are using a different version).
