Hi All,

I am curious what categories we should look at blocking to prevent users from using torrents?

I have Security Risk and the Human Resources categories selected. Are there any others that we should key in on.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Chris

One of the features of DNS protection is the ability to create URL block lists within the Overrides tab.  One technique would be to configure top 10 torrent sites which should catch a majority of that traffic type.  You can add or remove as needed.

Great question! Torrenting sites are included under Entertainment in Peer to Peer.  I would recommend making this part of any DNS policy.
