Chrome

We have a online application. Users internally / externally receive this error when using Chrome:
 
Error code: ERR_CONNEC?TION_ABORT?ED
 
I have:
1. Uninstalled / reinstalled Chrome
2. Uninstalled Malware Bytes, CC Cleaner and Spybot
3. Updated OS (windows 7)
4. Deleted Cookies and History
5. Uncheck "auto apply" within Chrome advanced settings.
 
Obviously posting here means we do not use Kaspersky, which I am finding is the issue, it isn't.

Thanks but, aleady read this and uninstalled / re-installed Chrome with no change. One thing I forgot to mention this also happens in Firefox but not nearly as much. Most trouble shooting points to "Security" software such as Webroot or Kaspersky.

Well to rule out security software, I'd say try disabling it first and see if the problem goes away.  Once we've confirmed which software it is then we can troubleshoot that specifically.

Sorry, 101 question. How do I disable webroot on this users pc?

If the policy on that endpoint allows it, you can do it from the client directly - otherwise you can go into the console and deactivate the PC under the Group Management tab.

After "deactivating" and restarting, verified that webroot was not on system. Still same error so, I guess Webroot is off the hook and not it's issue. Sorry to say, only because we would have an answer. We like Webroot!

Sorry that the problem still isn't solved - that is frustrating.

I had exactly the same issue with Chrome and an internal IIS webserver at my company. It turns out that the SCHANNEL patch that Microsoft put out last week has some serious issues.

I reinstalled that update, there is a new version as of the last couple days, on our IIS server and it took care of the issue.
