Manage access control settings via policy

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to manage individual access control settings via policies. I’m aware that the gui can be locked completely as well as removing the tray icon, but I’m looking for a more focused approach. The specific setting I want to manage and prevent changes to is in the screenshot below:

Is there a way to disable this one option from the web console and prevent end users from changing it?

If the agent is set to a standard policy, and NOT unmanaged, then the user cannot make changes to the shields or other options locally regardless if they are an admin or non admin user. So that’ll solve that for you.

We have the taskbar icon visible as well as the GUI, but the user cannot make any options/settings changes in the local GUI, just run the scan button. That’s it.

Hope this helps.

John

A bit new to Webroot so wasn’t aware the answer was that simple. Thank you for your reply.
