Webroot, Windows 11, Printdialog.exe

ClarkR

Lately Webroot has been detecting printdialog.exe as a trojan virus. All certificates, date stamps check out as Microsoft’s software. Windows 11 not to long ago changed the print structure. Has anyone else run across this issue?

Thank you ...

I think, I just added it to monitor list. It all checks out for microsoft’s credentials and installation path. Since I haven't installed any new hardware or software in several months and the notice just started coming up recently. Thanks...

@ClarkR Can you supply an MD5 hash of the file so we can check? Or scan the file on VirusTotal and post the link of the results.

Thanks,

Webroot has once again detected PrintDialog.exe as a trojan…

Virustotal scan link below …

Seems to trip after windows 11 Pro updates, had one yesterday and this morning it was flagged.

Side Note. I’m on the Windows Insider program, Dev Channel in case that has any bearing on this.

Hello @ClarkR

I’m going to close this thread and if you see any False Positives please contact Webroot Support Directly and they will sort it out for you because your running the Windows Insider program, Dev Channel, 3 of Mods use to be Windows Insider MVP’s so we don’t run the insider builds anymore.
