Looking through my “passwords” stored on-computer, I find “.auth-gateway.net” - what is that? Safari has a warning by it for “too easy a password”. I find in my cookies a cookie from the website (my service provider) dot this gateway. It makes me nervous. Does anyone know what this is, and why is it in my machine?

I checked with Tech Support at my Provider - He checked with his Supervisor, who told him it is merely a portal between my computer & account number and any of the Provider’s services. They say OK - no problems.
