The lights are not sound activated. Kat gets grumpy if they are not stable. Just standard 24-bit RGB LED Strip, 5m. The desk was $150 at Office Depot and the lights $20 from Amazon.
The whole thing is two 4K monitors, a 1080p monitor, and a 1080p projector not shown.
