Does anyone have a subscription of Web Root that is good forever?
I paid a company, FastFix 123, $450, to clean up my computer and instal Web Root on my Apple Computer, and was told that part of the funds, $300, was for a lifetime subscription of Web Root. It never expires, you just transfer it to another computer forever. Is this to good to be true or am I getting scammed?
Sounds like a classic scam. We would have done all that FastFix would have done for free as part of your subscription. I'd advise contacting your credit card company and start a chargeback.
