How does one stop spam and junk mail? We try to block sender but it does not seem to work.

how do we get rid of junk mail or spam when blocking the sender option does not seem to work?

    Who do you use as your email provider?  Do they offer any spam protection?  If not, there are a lot of online services that you can route your mail through that will do it for you.  Or if you want to do it on the client side, you can use this Outlook plugin:
