Hi Petr, thanks for posting. Always of interest regardless of whether Webroot is taking part or not.
But in this case they are and doing great when compared to most of the rest...which is great news even if not unexpected. :D

This is great news once again and one of the primary reasons i purchased webroot. HOWEVER...failed miserably on the 2017 Q2 results. Only MS Defender worse if i recall correctly. My subscription is up soon and this concerns me and gives me pause. Maybe back to Kaspersky?? Please advise anyone or share your ideas and opinions. Thx!

Well well. Isnt this interesting. Now today webroot has been completely eliminated from the report. It was there a week ago. So was it an error on mrg effitas part or did webroot force them to pull it due to poor results. Someone please weigh in.

Is there any further news or statement from Webroot as to their participation in current / future MRG tests?
I find these tests to be the most thorough and balanced.

Just look at the post I posted above.@ wrote:

OK....but that was 2 months ago!
I'm asking for an update as to Webroot "current / future MRG tests". Current means now. I assume that Webroot have in these 2 long months resolved the issues they had with MRG methodology and are now back in the MRG's testing program and we'll see the Q3 tests shortly with Webroot included in the list? I hope this clarifies.
FYI, in December and January I have a bunch of Webroot licenses expiring. On an annual basis I now look at all the MRG Effitas results to help me reach a decision on license purchases for the following year. MRG is the best set of tests in my opinion and I value their results, especially the online banking ones. Webroot's high ranking in them has been a key pillar of my decision making.
Another point is that since Webroot don't participate in any other tests, MRG is the only independent insight and assessment we users can obtain. I've been bitten enough times over 30 years of PC experience to simply rely upon blind faith or my own subjective experiences in any product, even Webroot ;)

Maybe @ or @ can supply some info you're looking for. I'm just waiting to see MRG Q3 testing to be released before I question it as Q1 and Q2 were not done correctly as Grayson said.
