Hi,

Did anyone see event-ID 215 (error) on their Windows 2008 R2 server after installting SecureAnywhere? One of our customers are having issues with installing printer drivers when running SecureAnywhere (in Silent Audit).

The problems stop when disabeling the realtime shield.

Just want to know if this is a known issue.

Our partner found a good work-around for this issue. Windows Server 2008 are re-installing the printer drivers everytime a user login - even thou the drivers are already installed. This seems to casue problems when running SecureAnywhere (and other programs as well). By disabeling the auto-reinstall of printer drivers it works fine!

Big thanks goes to Johan Moen at Koneo for finding this work-around.

Hi rikardz,

Thank you for finding the specific shield causing the issue.

At this point I would recommend opening a Support ticket so that Webroot Support can help troubleshoot further, it could be that some unknown files are being monitored and determining them in the cloud could resolve the issue.

To open a Suport ticket please click here

Alternativley, you can also investigate this by using the 'All Undetermined software seen' report in the management console. You may find some of your printer software there and can create an over ride to 'good' if you are certain it is a good file.

Regards
