Hello, I’m wondering how big the protection gap or module difference is between Webroot Home and Business Products. In particular I read a lot of announcements around the Evasion Shield (AMSI and Script) scanner and the Foreign Code Shields (suspicious execution patterns) announced back in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Reading through release notes looks like an Anti-Ransomware module is getting pretty close to release as well in 2024 but all 3 of these seem to be for the Business products only.Does the Home Editions contain (or will contain) these additional shields soon?Script Shield has toggle but I assume that is for an older script scanning technology that doesn’t have the more advanced hooks into AMSI like the newer Evasion Shield or am I wrong? Is there a plan to add the more capable Evasion Shield at some point even if disabled to start to avoid false positives? Foreign Code Shield - is this also a Business only Shield? I don’t see any mentions or toggles for something similar in

I have an authentication code which I have used before. When asking for the code I am getting the dialog below. When I enter the whole code it says its invalid. Googling seems to imply I should be getting asked for specific letters/numbers, eg, enter SECOND… FOURTH letter. What can I do, I have tried 2 browser, chrome and firefox and both with same results
Dear Team, have you seen something like that before? Is it some kind of malware in my browser? I scanned the computer using different scans and I could not find anything. I unistalled the browser and the icons look normal. Is it something to worry about? Normal look:
Some of the most common questions I see while looking across the Social Channels are the age-old: "Is my iPad secure?" or "Can I put Webroot on my iPhone?" The short answer is that there are no "real" AntiVirus solutions on the App Store because Apple includes all Security fixes in their Software Updates. That being said, we do offer a free SecureWeb Browser you can get right from the App Store. Browse, bank, search, shop, or use your favorite social network. We'll block the malicious websites for you. The most important rule to follow is to always update to the latest iOS version. Here are some other suggestions to help protect your iPhone/iPad: Activate find my iPhone
If you happen to lose your device, you can wipe it remotely to protect your personal data
Tap Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Scroll to the bottom and tap Find My iPhone
Use a passphrase instead of a passcode Having a
I have been trying to print out pdf files to my printer but have been unable to do that. I thought that it may have been a driver and spoke with a tech yesterday at HP that went on to my computer and said that I have corrupt files and he mentioned something about a worm. He also started telling me about prices for security for 2- 4 -8 years and lifetime and I didn't feel comfortable hearing that and stopped anything further. He did ask if I had any Malware devices and I said Webroot. I tried to go on as I used this about a few days ago and got the page that said Unable to Connect to Service. Please help !!
Why can’t I connect WiFi Security and also why am I not getting e-mails when I say I forgot my password or Security Code?
I have tried telling Webroot to ignore a DLL through “PC Security > Block/Allow Files”. However, a few minutes after adding this path, if I navigate to another Webroot tab and then back, the pattern gets removed. I know that the path is saved, because I can restart Webroot and the path is still there; moreover, Webroot is not removing all file patterns, only the one that I added, and only after a few minutes. Is anyone familiar with this issue and/or aware of a fix?On a side note, I am only adding this path because the DLL is being regenerated by a Unity project, and Webroot seems to flag that as malicious and prevent Unity opening it. This issue has only started occurring in the last week or two, and is being experienced by numerous other Unity users. Quitting Webroot fixes Unity, so I’m pretty confident that this is a Webroot issue, not a Unity issue. On another side note, the inability of Webroot Home edition to allow folder paths, not just file paths, is pretty laughable. This fe
I have tried going into several countries and it keeps spinning and not connecting. I uninstalled the software and installed it but that isn’t working. Is something wrong with the server at Webroot?
I have tried repeatedly to get customer service to respond to my inquiries to no avail. I am very dissatisfied with the Webroot WIFI Security product for two reasons: The product will not automatically load when my PC is started up each day. This has to be done manually and until it is done, the product restricts internet connectivity. When running, the product restricts my ability to use my printer which is connected via my home WIFI. It appears that the product disables the home WIFI when loaded. These issues are deal breakers for me in retaining the product for use after my initial subscription ends. Are there any solutions?
Starting out by wishing everyone a most wonderful New Year:-)I originally bought and installed Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for my desktop PC, running Windows 8.1 but I’ve upgraded to Windows 10 about a year ago or so. I originally bought the service through Amazon back around 2018. But for simplistic sakes I merely renewed through Webroot each year but at a much higher price. Currently they want $79.99 to renew for the next year however Amazon has it listed as: (Webroot Internet Security Complete | Antivirus Software 2024 | 5 Device | 2 Year Download for PC/Mac/Chromebook/Android/IOS + Password Manager, Performance Optimizer & Cloud BackupVisit the Webroot StorePlatform : Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS X, Windows 11, Windows 7 )The two year subscription is listed at only $49.99, a great deal compared to the $79.99 to renew for the next 1 yr. So after a little searching about downloading it from Amazon someone said all that needs to be done is to enter the new act
