Authentication Code, not asking for specific 'digits'

I have an authentication code which I have used before. When asking for the code I am getting the dialog below. When I enter the whole code it says its invalid. Googling seems to imply I should be getting asked for specific letters/numbers, eg, enter SECOND… FOURTH letter. What can I do, I have tried 2 browser, chrome and firefox and both with same results

Current subscriber but Unable to Connect to Service

I have been trying to print out pdf files to my printer but have been unable to do that. I thought that it may have been a driver and spoke with a tech yesterday at HP that went on to my computer and said that I have corrupt files and he mentioned something about a worm. He also started telling me about prices for security for 2- 4 -8 years and lifetime and I didn't feel comfortable hearing that and stopped anything further. He did ask if I had any Malware devices and I said Webroot. I tried to go on as I used this about a few days ago and got the page that said Unable to Connect to Service. Please help !!

How to stop Webroot deleting my block/allow file paths

I have tried telling Webroot to ignore a DLL through “PC Security > Block/Allow Files”. However, a few minutes after adding this path, if I navigate to another Webroot tab and then back, the pattern gets removed. I know that the path is saved, because I can restart Webroot and the path is still there; moreover, Webroot is not removing all file patterns, only the one that I added, and only after a few minutes. Is anyone familiar with this issue and/or aware of a fix?On a side note, I am only adding this path because the DLL is being regenerated by a Unity project, and Webroot seems to flag that as malicious and prevent Unity opening it. This issue has only started occurring in the last week or two, and is being experienced by numerous other Unity users. Quitting Webroot fixes Unity, so I’m pretty confident that this is a Webroot issue, not a Unity issue.On another side note, the inability of Webroot Home edition to allow folder paths, not just file paths, is pretty laughable. I have tried going into several countries and it keeps spinning and not connecting. I uninstalled the software and installed it but that isn’t working. Is something wrong with the server at Webroot?

Webroot Wifi Security

I have tried repeatedly to get customer service to respond to my inquiries to no avail. I am very dissatisfied with the Webroot WIFI Security product for two reasons: The product will not automatically load when my PC is started up each day. This has to be done manually and until it is done, the product restricts internet connectivity. When running, the product restricts my ability to use my printer which is connected via my home WIFI. It appears that the product disables the home WIFI when loaded.These issues are deal breakers for me in retaining the product for use after my initial subscription ends.Are there any solutions?

Starting out by wishing everyone a most wonderful New Year:-)I originally bought and installed Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete for my desktop PC, running Windows 8.1 but I’ve upgraded to Windows 10 about a year ago or so. I originally bought the service through Amazon back around 2018. But for simplistic sakes I merely renewed through Webroot each year but at a much higher price. HTML/CSS Rendering issues

When Webroot was checking my computer, I received a call from someone who identified with Webroot and said my computer was corrupted and I needed to add a firewall which I agreed. Now that I have received a bill for $799.99 from Crown Technologies from Richardson, Texas, I beginning to think that I have been scammed. Has anyone else had this experience?

Is is still a good idea to stick to LastPass that comes with a Webroot subscription?

I use a Webroot Internet Security Plus subscription that comes with a LastPass account. With all the negative media reports, reviews and opinions being thrown around in the social media circles, I was wondering if fellow Webroot community members who are all using Webroot ( I assume) for their internet security, would still recommend using LastPass as the primary password manager as it comes together with the Webroot subscription. sm-d

Cannot Uninstall Webroot - Please Help

My dad has Webroot on his PC, but he decided he no longer wanted it. He uninstalled it, but continued to get popups about the software.He has also tried:Removing the software from his registry files based on instructions from a forum post Removing other traces of the software manually from his computer Getting help from Geeksquad who tried helping for 3+ hours to no avail This morning, not only is Webroot not yet gone, it ran a scan on his computer.Could someone point me to a thorough uninstallation guide to remove every trace of the program? Or is there an easier way to do it in one shot?

Webroot Antivirus closing my running program even though it’s added to real-time shield exception.

Everything was fine for me running Webroot Antivirus until recently I experienced weird issue having the app closing my other program even though these program was added to the exception list in real-time shield. Since September 19 my Minergate v6.5 64bit for Win 10 application (found at [url=https://minergate.com/downloads/gui]https://minergate.com/downloads/gui[/url]) is automatically shut down by the Antivirus. This application is used for crypto currency mining and has been recently detected as a thread even there in no virus in it. I have allowed the Minegate.exe in real time shield and it is no longer detected as a thread however Webroot is closing Minergate automatically after couple of seconds. Uninstalling web-root solves this issue> I installed McAfee antivirus and confirmed that it does not causes this problem. Also I tried another PC using Webroot and have the same problem. My ticket is open with Support without any response which is very frustrating.     Anyon

Facebook tracking LastPass

I just discovered that Facebook app on my android phone was tracking my activity on the LastPass app.I find unacceptable that a company that provides security services allows an information hog like Facebook to intrude in something so sensitive. We pay for a service to keep our information private and secure, not to be used and sold. I cannot trust Webroot or Lastpass anymore, I had the software less than a month, how do I get a refund?

Webroot problems with minecraft

So for a month I have been experiencing issues with Minecraft. For instance, I wasn’t able to connect to ANY SERVERS. However, recently I tried to shut down my Webroot, and it works PERFECTLY. Obviously Webroot is the problem but I tried to disable the firewall and everything and things wouldn’t work. Any advice?

Hello,I’ve got a question. I started my PC and this message poped up. Is it something I should worry about? I tried to remove a potential threat but it was impossible. It got stuck. Is Webroot VPN going away?

Hi All,Curious if Webroot VPN is going away now that SaferVPN is being decommissioned as of Dec 15th, 2023. If readers didn’t know, Webroot VPN is technically NOT an in house product, but rather a reskinned/rebranded version of SaferVPN, but added some of their BrightCloud tech to it. I received a notice today that SaferVPN is recommending IPVanish and the website is saying they’ve joined with IPVanish. So does this mean, the Webroot VPN will be changing their product to update it’s look and feel of IPVanish? CuriousRegardsJohn H
