Hi,Has anyone seen something like this? Looks like a bug with the latest version on MacOS to me.My Webroot reported what appears to be an old threat this morning (Dwell time1870 days+) on my Macbook for a file that no longer exists. I tried to open Webroot Secure Anywhere on my Mac (agent v9.5.8.209) , but it was not responding, though Activity Monitor showed it was running. One of my clients has a similar issue, a very old threat (Dwell time 1078 Days+) endpoint (agent v9.5.8.209) has been offline/unavailable from early this morning.I have uninstalled Webroot Secure Anywhere, restarted and reinstalled from a newly download copy. Now I get this segmentation fault from the Webroot process on my Macbook. -------------------------------------Translated Report (Full Report Below)-------------------------------------Process: Webroot SecureAnywhere [4737]Path: /Users/USER/Downloads/Webroot SecureAnywhere.app/Contents/MacOS/Webroot SecureAnywhereIdentifier: com.webroot.Webroot-SecureAnywhereVe
My Webroot scans say I need to delete temporary internet files from Windows IE. I have no idea how to do that? I am using Windows 10 but I mainly use Chrome or Firefox browsers hardly ever Edge. I am a computer dummy so please help. Thanks!
My last webroot scan said that runtimebroker.exe was open. I have no idea what that is and if it is a security risk or hacker...how do I close it? Thank you for the help for old computer dummy.
I’m running MacOS 13.4. I keep getting a notification that says “Turn On Your McAfee”. It shows up once every 2 or so minutes. I’m guessing that it’s some sort of Malware. I never used McAfee. And I haven’t clicked on this notification. I examined System Settings / Notifications. McAfee is not on the list. What do I do to get rid of this?

Hi team,I see that there is a feature requirement asking for a tool that forwards logs to SIEM, although I cannot access it.Is there any deadline for the publication of this feature? We have a customer that is asking for it.Thanks!
We have used webroot for many years, without any major hickups. We have a farm of servers running web applications based on Microsoft.net, so nothing particularly fancy but some features in the system are a bit I/O intensive. They are hosted on GCP and AWS, so vms basically. Now when we have (finally) done “in place” upgrades from 2012 R2 to 2019, we notice that everything went to a halt, basically losing about half the performance on average. First I thought, 2019 is a bloat, maybe we need to do clean installs instead of in place upgrades. But no, this doesn’t help. Then I saw that Defender was active next to webroot. This was a bit alarming, and after disabling Defender, we notice an improvement. But still, if we also disable Webroot we gain another 30% in performance and it’s only then it is comparable to 2012 R2 performance.I’ve tried adding exclusions and it does help a bit (but only if I untick “detect if malicious”) but is that really the only way to go?Anyone has had similar iss
I’ve been using webroot on my pc for over a year and recently upgraded to the mobile app. The only issue I have is every now and then I have to login to use the app. I never log out or restart the phone. I don’t mind logging in except the program never excepts my log in credentials unless I uninstall the app and start from scratch. It’s getting extremely annoying. Anyone know of a fix. TIA
I recently got Webroot Wifi Security and it was working fine at first. However, recently it hasn’t been working on either of the Windows 10 computers connected to my account. It will appear to connect correctly at first, but after a short bit will revert back to my IP address and will not let me disconnect. This does not occur on my phone.
With Google announcing that they are now selling registrations for the .zip and .mov top-level domains, we are looking to strengthen our customer's cybersecurity defences by blocking these TLDs.I tried to do this through the Web Overrides section in the Webroot Management Console. However, I got an error indicating that the *.zip and *.mov URLs are invalid. Is it possible to block TLDs through Web Overrides?
Hi, Ever since the old console is not accessible to new/renewed licenses, all the KB’s I found about this are referring to the old (and beloved) console, where we had the “Deactivate” button. The issue I’m facing now is that a device is still showing attached to the license key, but I don’t know how to deactivate it. If I uninstall, will it deactivate? But what if I can’t uninstall as this device has issues booting the OS (hard drive crashed). What can I do?So to summarize the questions for the HOME version of Webroot:When I uninstall a device from the device itself (Windows/macOS) → does it deactivate and reclaim the license also in the console? How can I deactivate and reclaim the license if a device is not bootable anymore ?Thanks,Idan.
Hello I seem to be either an idiot or simply am technologically illiterate, but what I want to know is there a way to remove devices from my webroot account without the management console or contacting support? I know, seems impossible, but all I want to know is if its safe to install webroot secureanywhere on my 2 Windows partitions or is there something I have to do before I can. I currently do not have access to the Windows Installations that had webroot installed and had to reinstall both Windows Operating Systems due to problems with the boot loader but that also removed my ability to uninstall webroot before handif there is a way please let me know. if I am just an idiot or technically illiterate please tell me (Please don’t).Regards,Kevin M.

I got this popup below right after starting my pc, before starting any programs. It doesn't say what app this concerns, and I haven't installed any new apps. Is this related to the Windows store, or should I be concerned about malware? The popup has only appeared once, it didn't reappear when I restarted my pc.
Our webroot Secure Anywhere on an HP laptop running Windows 10 22H2 displays a warning message either upon restart or sometimes during normal operation of the laptop. Running a scan turns the icon Green. Here is the information as listed in the scan log. Does anyone have more information about this suspicious script detection and what should be the remediation I should perform to remove this from the laptop?
