In light of the recent news that anti-virus manufacturer Avast has been bundling and selling user data to advertising firms as outline here, I am wondering if any representatives of Webroot could clarify if Webroot is doing then same with our user data.  I am not suggesting that they are, but it would put my mind, and I would imagine that of other users as well, at ease if we knew the how our data was being handled.

Hey @Armand , I can tell you that Webroot values your privacy. I pulled this from our Privacy Statement for you:

The California Consumer Privacy Act 2018 sets forth obligations for businesses that “sell” personal information. Webroot does not engage in such activity

You can read more about this here on our Privacy Overview page

Thanks

Drew
