Does the update of webroot on a mac need admin rights?

Hello
In our company we have installed webroot on 100 MAcBooks.
Now some users told me that webroot would like to run an update.
Does uprgrading the software needs admin rights ?

Cheers Wolff

@Wolff-DIS Yes, the Mac agents will need administrator credentials, unless an MDM is in use and there is a profile for the MDM to set the admin privilege controls.
