IDG News Service - Following Wednesday's adverse Supreme Court decision, Aereo will suspend its online service, which lets its subscribers watch "over the air" broadcast television via the Web.
"We have decided to pause our operations temporarily as we consult with the court and map out our next steps. All of our users will be refunded their last paid month," wrote CEO Chet Kanojia in a letter to customers posted on Aereo's home page on Saturday.
Kanojia, who advised customers with questions to contact the company via email at support@aereo.com or via its@AereoSupport Twitter account, also encouraged them to stay involved with the company's legal fight on the website ProtectMyAntenna.org. "Our journey is far from done," he wrote.

I'm really sad at the outcome of this one. Seems like a step backwards for consumers.
The content providers need to get with the times. Can't they see that it would be easier on them to just make content more legally accessible instead of making it so tied down, locked down, and a pain in the butt.
Think of all the money they would have towards actually producing more content instead of wasting it buying congresman and paying lawyers.
Also if they actually would make content worth it then people would get more. If you make a bad movie and it flops don't blame piracy, blame yourselves for making a bad movie nobody wants to see!
