Apple reports the fakes are poorly constructed and have the potential to cause fires

Apple has warned these counterfeit products are a risk to the public and could cause fires.

 

Patently Apple published the details of the lawsuit, in which Apple states it bought a number of Mobile Star’s chargers from Amazon. The chargers are listed on the e-commerce site as genuine Apple products, however, when tested, Apple’s engineers said the products were “poorly constructed, with inferior or missing components, flawed design, and inadequate electrical insulation.”

Well, good luck to them. There are so many fakes for some many different devices that if all the OEMs decided to follow Apple's approach the legal system/courts would be clogged up for a lifetime...LOL.

 

Cannot understand why they have decided to go after this lot anyway, rather than the purveyors of other fake Apple'stuff'?
