Device driver cause BSOD?

5/1/15 - Had a BSOD Windows 7. Went to Device Manager, found this driver needed to be updated - ‘Asmedia ASM104x USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver’, which I did.

Did I solve the BSOD problem?

Well typically if it hadn't solved the problem, the BSOD would come back.  Has it happened again since the update?

No - thanks. I find that BSOD is ususally driver related.

Sounds like that fixed it.  If it does come back, you can always upload the minidump file to a website that analyzes them for you and will tell you which process or driver caused the rash.
