I have been having trouble with the Webroot Forum loading on my XP computer using IE-8. This has been happening for awhile and it seems the more posts in a thread the longer it takes to load. This happens on both XP machines. I have done all I could, clean cookies / IE / defrag etc. and it's still doing it. I have no problems with FF on the forum. This only happens on the Webroot Forum. Other forums load normal with IE-8.

Again, thank you Jim. I have actually noticed the same when using IE 8 on my computer, but not as pronounced as the others. (My internet connection is slow to begin with.) I do not use IE8 much at all, so it was not a major problem for me.
Could this be causing the same problem I'm having with Firefox 20.0.1 and this area?@ wrote:
I think I've got this fixed in the next push for you PTD. IE8 doesn't like certain javascript functions, and I've replaced them with ones it can use. We'll find out sometime Friday if that took care of it.

TH, that's a different sort of problem. I've tried to reproduce it, but I'm having trouble getting it to reproduce. I can see how that might happen if users sign off - in which case the second page of results would no longer be valid when you click on the 2. That's my best guess at the moment until I can get it to occur on any of my computers for further investigation.

Thanks Jim for looking into the problem and a possible fix. 😃
Dave, I'm running Windows XP on my desktop with I.E. 8 and have had no problems. You cannot install I.E. 9 on Windows XP. I am not having any problems with the Webroot forum. So, whatever your problem may be, it's not universal and could be unique to your setup.
BTW, I didn't know Norton had a forum. Jim and I discussed this perhaps a month or two ago and I thought we had concluded that Norton did not have a forum.

So here's an image you're probably not likely to see very often - Webroot and Norton employees standing together in harmony, lol :)

While Webroot community is still very young it is very matured. :D

Translation for Pegas: Rolling On Floor Laughing (ROFL). This means that it is so very funny it made me laugh 🙂
Sorry! I have edited it with translation for you! Your English is so very good, I DO honestly forget that you are not a native speaker of it!@ wrote:

Thanks David for the translation ;) , never heard before 😳 yeah, as far as all these abbreviations are concerned I am still a newbie :D
David, this "ROFL" we say "Padám smíchy na hubu" what exactly translated means "I fall out laughing at the mouth" :D
Many thanks Daniel ;) , will bookmark this site. It will ease me a bit. :D@ wrote:

I had just a glimpse and I am astonished about number of acronyms :S
That's what I used to understand some of the acronyms I didn't know it's crazy and try to remember them? :@

If we were as young as we used to be, we would be able to remember them!@ wrote:

GRRRRR.
Jim, thanks for the update. I'll have to amend my Amazon reviews accordingly, which, BTW, have garnered a lot of positive attention for WSA. I have received a lot of emails to my Amazon email address concerning WSA, all positive.@ wrote:

I think I'll attach that pic to my reviews on Amazon, where I do a comparative review of WSA and Norton 360 2013 Premier. :D BTW, who's the good looking one? 😃
Petr, please send me a PM about this, giving me your views of a comparison of WSA vs. Norton's forum.@ wrote:

Yeah, it's borderline salacious, but definitely not what I'd call hard-core porn!! 😃@ wrote:
