You can read the time without even looking at your Apple Watch using a little-known feature called Taptic Time. Hold two fingers on the screen and you’ll feel it tap the time out on your wrist.

This is handy if you’re in a meeting and you need to know the time, but you don’t want to look rude checking your watch.

Hmm. Not really that discreet if the watch screen has to be on. As the article says, doesn’t make it worth while in a cinema/theatre compared to just moving your wrist to look at the actual time on your watch.

Assume this is possibly useful for Apple Watch users who have poor or no eye sight but for those able to see clearly, it seems more effort than just looking at the screen

I was thinking the same thing as Russell. If the screen is on, I can easily look quickly at it. And I tried it anyway, and while it is easy to figure out, I do not think I would ever use this.

Glad it’s not just me!
