getting a renewel

I have asked this question before and the problem is still there. I keep getting a renewal request from McAfee to renew spyware. I have never bought from them. The expiration date keeps changing on the request to what ever the current date is.

    If you have done a full scan with Webroot and nothing is detected, I would raise a support ticket with Webroot.

      Without knowing all the details I would assume by the sound of it that McAfee came preinstalled on the computer and the subscription has now expired.
      Personally I would either contact McAfee directly in their own support forums
      OR
      from the McAfee site download the relevant McAfee software removal tool which will remove it all.

        Have you ran the McAfee Consumer Protection Removal Tool?
        Google "How to remove McAfee products from a PC running Windows" and there is a link that takes you to McAfee which goes through the removal procedure and another link to download MCPR.exe.
