Google is going to tweak the next version of Gmail so that it won’t quite work with older browsers by the end of the year. The idea seems to be to push people into using up-to-date versions of Chrome, as it will no longer support versions 53 and below.
The full technical detail is on the G Suite blog. Many corporate IT departments will be fine with upgrading to the latest version, and indeed it seems to be Windows Vista and Windows XP users who will be hardest hit.

Between Google Chrome and Firefox Browsers they are forever pushing updates / breaking addon's etc. I wish I could get Safari to run like Firefox. If I could I would use Safari in a heart beat. I'm looking into how to tweak Safari into a better browser. 😉
So far in FF my add ons do not get broken, however I do not have many of them to worry about.@ wrote:

The main one I worry about is my Password Manager, RoboForm. Still broke on the updated version of FF. Just checked with RoboForm Customer Service, they are still looking for a solution. I'm using FF V. 50.1.0 where it works. 😠@ wrote:

Am also on FF 51.0.1 and no issues whatsoever here. ;)
I just updated to FF 51.0.1 on the Win 7 computer and RoboForm works fine on there. It's just on the Mac RoboForm doesn't work with the New release of FF. Must be a Apple thing! 😃 ROFL.@ wrote:
