HP announced today "a worldwide voluntary safety recall and replacement program" for laptop batteries it shipped with notebooks or sold as accessories or replacements between December 2015 and December 2017.
The company says batteries sold during this interval are prone to overheat and pose a fire and burn hazard to customers.

my HP2000 gets so hot I have to shut it down every 4 hours or so. Glad I got lenovos they rarely get as hot.
